13 Essential Gluten Free Kitchen Accessories I Love
It dawned on me lately that I’m a huge fan of a lot of the essential gluten free kitchen accessories that I use everyday for cooking. Not only that, but gluten free cooking would be much more difficult with kitchen accessories that were just subpar.
I’m a busy gluten free mama with limited kitchen and storage space. I only want all the easy-to-clean, functional, safe, multipurpose, and nice-looking gluten free kitchen essentials and nothing else.
So I’m going to share with you the gluten free kitchen essentials I really love, that make gluten free cooking manageable. You just worry about the ingredients and recipes, and let these tools do everything else. These gluten free kitchen accessories are all things I either regularly use, as well as a couple must-have items I have on my own wish list!

Do you have a pasta pot with a draining lid? If you don’t, you need one! I love not having to mess with a colander and skipping another big item to clean. It’s just the most convenient pot. Old wooden spoons are a prime thing to replace when you go gluten free as they are harder to clean thoroughly and have lots of crevices for gluten to hide. So replacing them with these spatulas are a great idea. Though you may still need to get new wooden spoons as something about the wood can keep your pasta pot from overflowing. 4. Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker
My Instant Pot is a couple years old so no longer available, but this Instant Pot is the next step up from it and is a 7-in-1. Mine is just a 6-in-1. If you’ve never used an instant pot, you’ll be amazed at the tenderness of the meat. And mushrooms! I’ve made some amazing stew in there, among other things, with the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. Just, wow. This one is also 1# seller in rice cookers on Amazon too, so scratch that off your list.

5. KitchenAid Nonstick Aluminized Steel Baking Sheet (13x18in)

I love this duo together. So I’m going to write about them together.
First, I love the large size of this baking sheet. Plenty of room for your baking projects—you don’t have to worry about over-crowding. The baking sheet is a staple item on its own, but then the rack takes it to the next level. I use mine for roasting wings. They get so much crispier this way since they aren’t sitting in their juices as they bake. It also cleans up so well!
I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was to clean after roasting wings. It works great for fries too. The rack is also nice as it’s multi-functional as it can be used for a cooling rack for desserts as well.

Let’s keep the KitchenAid baking training rolling for a second. I’ve been making some very yummy muffins with this bad boy. I love how you don’t even need to use muffin liners (though I did in this pic because putting them in is my daughter’s favorite part…). The extended handles also make it easy to use. With little ones in the house I always feel like I’m playing basketball and boxing out whenever I open the oven, so being able to get in and out quickly and safely is a plus!

9. PowerXL Air Fryer Maxx Classic (7 qt)
I’m going to give it to you straight about my air fryer. I don’t use it a lot and the reason for that is because it’s way way too small (2 quart). Everything about it is great, except for the size. By the time I’ve made enough batches of fried food to consist of a meal, the first few batches aren’t hot anymore. That’s why I’m going to recommend you get the 7 quart. One batch and done. IT CAN FIT 23 CHICKEN WINGS! Eat some piping hot fried food. Safely. It’s on my wish list for sure.

10. GreenPan Healthy Ceramic Nonstick 8″ and 10″ Frying Pan Skillet Set
Green pans! I got my set of Green Pans last year for Christmas and I just love them. I use them practically everyday and they still look brand new. They are super easy to clean and don’t have the harmful chemicals that some pans have. Very well done. Couldn’t find the exact match of mine colorwise, but there are similar sets available.

13. Which Bread Maker Should I Buy?
I’ve asked my GFG followers and I’ve done my research around the web, and I’m still wondering which bread maker to put on my wish list. My talks and research have led me to two options.
- Cuisinart Bread Maker Machine, Compact and Automatic – I talked to one GFG follower and read of another account on social media of these puppies lasting through 10 years of regular use! Wow. And the bread is supposedly fabulous. Well it looks like that model was discontinued. Here is the latest model if you want to check it out, I hope it’s just as good!!!
- Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme Breadmaker – I saw this one recommended in gluten free Facebook groups more than any other. It’s pricey, but it sounds like it could be worth it. It also has settings for cake, meatloaf, and starting sourdough, all of which can be made gf of course.
