13 Essential Gluten Free Kitchen Accessories I Love

It dawned on me lately that I’m a huge fan of a lot of the essential gluten free kitchen accessories that I use everyday for cooking. Not only that, but gluten free cooking would be much more difficult with kitchen accessories that were just subpar.

I’m a busy gluten free mama with limited kitchen and storage space. I only want all the easy-to-clean, functional, safe, multipurpose, and nice-looking gluten free kitchen essentials and nothing else.

So I’m going to share with you the gluten free kitchen essentials I really love, that make gluten free cooking manageable. You just worry about the ingredients and recipes, and let these tools do everything else. These gluten free kitchen accessories are all things I either regularly use, as well as a couple must-have items I have on my own wish list!

As a result of any purchases made through this post, I may make a small commission at absolutely no additional cost to you.

1. Gotham Steel Multipurpose Pasta Pot with Locking Strainer Lid (5 qt)

Do you have a pasta pot with a draining lid? If you don’t, you need one! I love not having to mess with a colander and skipping another big item to clean. It’s just the most convenient pot. My aunt who makes the best spaghetti in the world gave me one for my birthday one year with the gravitas of imparting some deep wisdom. And I get it, I really do.

  • Twist and lock handles to lock lid and quickly drain water without strainer
  • Non-stick ceramic coating for easy clean up
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Free of PFOA, PFOS, lead, and cadmium
  • The coating is infused with DIAMONDS, so it’s safe for metal utensils!

Check it out now.

2. OXO Plastic Good Grips 3-Piece Mixing Bowl Set with Red/Green/Blue Handles

My mom gets the credit for getting me into OXO stuff. They just have very nice, functional, durable, thoughtfully made things. These mixing bowls are one of my favorites. The small is great for sauces, the medium for baking, and the large for Chex mix, pasta salads, and the like.

  • Love the large handle/lip with the grip for stirring/whisking. A major plus for little hands helping in the kitchen
  • A perfect size bowl for whatever the project
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Love the spout for accurately pouring muffin batter

Mix yourself something heavenly today.

3. OXO Good Grips 3 Piece Silicone Spatula Set

My old trusty OXO spatula must have been discontinued, but these look even better. I’m definitely adding them to my wish list. Old wooden spoons are a prime thing to replace when you go gluten free as they are harder to clean thoroughly and have lots of crevices for gluten to hide. So replacing them with these spatulas are a great idea. Though you may still need to get new wooden spoons as something about the wood can keep your pasta pot from overflowing. Don’t ask me how, I just know it’s the truth.

  • Includes Small Spatula, Everyday Spatula and Spoon Spatula
  • Made of non-scratch heat-resistant silicone that is dishwasher safe
  • Small Spatula for saucepans and small bowls
  • Everyday Spatula for, well, everything
  • Spoon Spatula for scraping and scooping
  • Edges are flexible and perfectly sloped to get every last bit

Get ready to stir and scoop to your heart’s delight.

4. Instant Pot Duo 7-in-1 Electric Pressure Cooker

My Instant Pot is a couple years old so no longer available, but this Instant Pot is the next step up from it and is a 7-in-1. Mine is just a 6-in-1. If you’ve never used an instant pot, you’ll be amazed at the tenderness of the meat. And mushrooms! I’ve made some amazing stew in there, among other things, with the best mushrooms I’ve ever had. Just, wow. This one is also 1# seller in rice cookers on Amazon too, so scratch that off your list.

You can even sterilize baby bottles and make yogurt with it?! What the heck, so cool.

Also, did you know that cooking your food super fast in an Instant Pot may actually be the best way to preserve nutrients in your food (read more about it here)? That can be super important when healing a damaged gut that’s having trouble absorbing such nutrients. Super cool!

  • It’s a 7-IN-1 gadget—Pressure cook, slow cook, rice cooker, yogurt maker, steamer, sauté pan, and food warmer
  • Pressure cook delicious one-pot meals up to 70% faster than traditional cooking
  • It’s easy to clean with a dishwasher-safe lid, inner pot, and accessories
  • Fits enough food for servings for 6 people
  • Comes with recipes to get you started

Add the Instant Pot to your wish list now.

5. KitchenAid Nonstick Aluminized Steel Baking Sheet (13x18in)

and the

6. KitchenAid Nonstick Cooling/Baking Rack (12.5×17.75in)

I love this duo together. So I’m going to write about them together.

First, I love the large size of this baking sheet. Plenty of room for your baking projects—you don’t have to worry about over-crowding. The baking sheet is a staple item on its own, but then the rack takes it to the next level. I use mine for roasting wings. They get so much crispier this way since they aren’t sitting in their juices as they bake. It also cleans up so well!

I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was to clean after roasting wings. It works great for fries too. The rack is also nice as it’s multi-functional as it can be used for a cooling rack for desserts as well.

  • The sheet is made of aluminized steel for consistent heat distribution and even cooking
  • The sheet comes in fun colors; I wish I had the blue velvet, so pretty.
  • The baking sheet dishwasher safe and PTFE Free
  • The cooling/baking rack fits perfectly within the KitchenAid 13x18in Baking sheet
  • The cooling/baking rack can be used for baking and cooling! Who knew?!

Check out both the baking sheet and the rack today.

7. KitchenAid 12-Cup Nonstick Aluminized Steel Muffin Pan

Let’s keep the KitchenAid baking training rolling for a second. I’ve been making some very yummy muffins with this bad boy. I love how you don’t even need to use muffin liners (though I did in this pic because putting them in is my daughter’s favorite part…). The extended handles also make it easy to use. With little ones in the house I always feel like I’m playing basketball and boxing out whenever I open the oven, so being able to get in and out quickly and safely is a plus!

  • Food is evenly baked due to aluminized steel construction for consistent heat distribution
  • Extended handles for easy gripping wiht pot holders
  • Easy to clean/dishwasher safe

Up your muffin game today.

8. Non-Slip, Juice Groove Cutting Board Set

I recently purchased these cutting boards and I’m a big fan. They are convenient sizes for small to medium jobs. I like not having to haul out my big cutting board and having it take up real estate on the counter and in the dishwasher when I only have a small chopping job. My only complaint is that I wish the largest one was slightly larger for those big jobs so I could replace my old one. Still a really nice and convenient set though.

  • Three convenient sizes
  • Certified as climate neutral
  • Gripping feet for non-slippage
  • Grooves to catch juice
  • Comes with peeler

9. PowerXL Air Fryer Maxx Classic (7 qt)

I’m going to give it to you straight about my air fryer. I don’t use it a lot and the reason for that is because it’s way way too small (2 quart). Everything about it is great, except for the size. By the time I’ve made enough batches of fried food to consist of a meal, the first few batches aren’t hot anymore. That’s why I’m going to recommend you get the 7 quart. One batch and done. IT CAN FIT 23 CHICKEN WINGS! Eat some piping hot fried food. Safely. It’s on my wish list for sure.

We all know how hard fried food is to come by at restaurants due to a lack of dedicated gluten free fryers. So treat yourself and do it safely at home.

  • Fast and hot air flow (400°) creates incredibly crispy food with up to 70% fewer calories from fat!
  • 5 different modes for different types of cooking
  • LARGE BASKET – IT FITS 23 CHICKEN WINGS!!!!!
  • Comes with cookbook and easy to clean accessories

Let’s catch up on all that fried food you’ve been missing.

10. GreenPan Healthy Ceramic Nonstick 8″ and 10″ Frying Pan Skillet Set

Green pans! I got my set of Green Pans last year for Christmas and I just love them. I use them practically everyday and they still look brand new. They are super easy to clean and don’t have the harmful chemicals that some pans have. Very well done. Couldn’t find the exact match of mine colorwise, but there are similar sets available.

  • Includes 8” frypan and 10” frypan
  • Reinforced with diamonds so are metal utensil safe and easy to clean
  • Dishwasher safe
  • Free of PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium
  • Safe for oven and broiler!

Even have 12 piece sets, holy moly. I want it.

11. 8×8 Pyrex Deep Glass Baking Dish with Plastic Lid

This dish is such a convenient size and cleans up soo easily. The size and plastic lid make it perfect for toting hot dips to parties. It’s my go-to baking dish for making Skyline dip—which I do quite a bit. I also use it for making coffee cake—which I do pretty often too. Don’t judge. I use it quite a lot. Find out what kind of coffee cake I love and my other favorite baking mixes in this post.

  • Comes with BPA-free plastic lid safe for freezer, microwave, and dishwasher
  • Glass bakeware is oven, microwave, and freezer safe
  • 25% deeper than the basic Pyrex

12. Pyrex Basics 3 QT Glass Casserole Dish With Plastic Lid

This is the big daddy Pyrex. I use this big boy to take awesome, crowd-pleasing casseroles to parties, as well as enjoy at home. Like the smaller one, the lid makes it perfect for storage and for taking to parties. It’s also dishwasher safe and cleans up super easily. I’d be lost without it, especially during the holidays.

  • Comes with BPA-free plastic lid safe for freezer, microwave, and dishwasher
  • Oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe
  • Versatile for different cooking and baking needs
  • Non-stick
  • We make lasagna and casserole in ours

Get one before your next get-together.

13. Which Bread Maker Should I Buy?

I’ve asked my GFG followers and I’ve done my research around the web, and I’m still wondering which bread maker to put on my wish list. My talks and research have led me to two options.

  1. Cuisinart Bread Maker Machine, Compact and Automatic – I talked to one GFG follower and read of another account on social media of these puppies lasting through 10 years of regular use! Wow. And the bread is supposedly fabulous. Well it looks like that model was discontinued. Here is the latest model if you want to check it out, I hope it’s just as good!!!
  2. Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme Breadmaker I saw this one recommended in gluten free Facebook groups more than any other. It’s pricey, but it sounds like it could be worth it. It also has settings for cake, meatloaf, and starting sourdough, all of which can be made gf of course.

Do you have a bread maker? If so, which one? It will help me make my decision, so I’d love to know! It would definitely round out my gluten free kitchen accessories.

I hope you buy yourself some good stuff, so you can eat some great stuff!
